Amazing to witness the effect of meditation in the workplace
It’s been amazing to witness the effect of meditation in the workplace. I designed a programme of meditation courses around emotional wellbeing to enable staff to be able to ‘switch off’ and self-manage stress and anxiety, day to day. People were introduced to four different techniques to use in any relevant situation. The challenges of these organisations are their characteristics of being high pressured, reactive environments with people working shifts. The accumulative impact on staff can be detrimental unless people have the navigation tools to help bring balance. Journeying with participants and seeing the difference meditation was making made me realise how much every organisation would benefit from the introducing the practice.
